Current Undergraduate Students and ParentsAs noted in the University's admissions material, Duke is committed to meeting 100% of each student's demonstrated need throughout the four year period of enrollment. Even if you didn't qualify for need based aid as an incoming student, we are happy for you to reapply as an upper-class student at any point that you think it appropriate. We understand that circumstances change. Changes in circumstances could range from having a brother or sister enroll in a four year college, to having a parent retire or lose a job. Regardless, if your family has non-discretionary changes in circumstance or other difficulties, we want to hear about them. Please apply for financial aid and write to us with dollar-specific details of any extenuating circumstances. Loans and campus jobs are always available and we welcome you or your parents contacting us about these financing options. As you know, Duke offers a limited number of merit scholarships to incoming students. Merit scholarships are not offered to upper class students. |
