Trinity Leadership Scholars ProgramThe Trinity Scholarships were established through the generosity of distinguished Duke alumni to honor the University's origins as Trinity College in Randolph County, N.C. These scholarships (two or three per year, depending upon availability) are awarded to some of the most gifted students residing within North Carolina, based on outstanding academic achievement, extracurricular activities and personal qualities. These four-year awards are the University's most comprehensive, covering full tuition, room and board, and summer stipends for study, work or travel. During their four years at Duke, Trinity Scholars work most directly with the B.N. Duke Scholars to coordinate special programs, such as leadership retreats, guest speakers and social events, through the Office of Undergraduate Scholars and Fellows.
