Robertson Scholars Program

This innovative joint scholarship program at Duke University and neighboring University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill was created and funded by Julian Robertson and his wife, Josie. Half of these scholars matriculate at UNC Chapel Hill and half at Duke; all of the students will take courses at both universities. Each Robertson Scholar exhibits exceptional leadership potential, commitment to public service and proven interest in the diversity of peoples and cultures both within the United States and beyond its borders.

Robertson Scholars receive full tuition for four years at Duke, summer community-building and enrichment opportunities in the United States and abroad, support for research and related travel, and a top-of-the-line laptop computer.
