Benjamin N. Duke Memorial Scholarship

The Benjamin N. Duke Memorial Scholarship Program was established in 1986 to attract the Carolinas' most exceptional students to Duke. Recognizing North and South Carolina's brightest and most highly motivated leaders, the program seeks to apply their talents and energy to enhance Duke's academic and social atmosphere. B.N. Duke Scholars are provided with an intellectually challenging environment and opportunities to utilize their leadership skills within the University and surrounding communities.

The B.N. Duke Scholarship covers full tuition for four years. The scholarship also provides the opportunity for collaboration with fellow scholars through leadership retreats, lectures by guest speakers and social events designed by B.N. Duke Scholars. Scholars may apply for a summer stipend of $750 for an internship involving the application of their leadership skills within North or South Carolina.
