Angier B. Duke Memorial ScholarshipThe Angier B. Duke Memorial Scholarships were created in 1925 to recognize young men and women who have demonstrated, through their excellent academic and personal records, outstanding promise of achievement in their chosen fields. Benjamin Newton Duke, one of the founders of Duke University, established these merit scholarships in memory of his son, Angier Buchanan Duke. The A.B. Duke Scholarship covers full tuition for four years, a Duke/Oxford College summer program in England, a $2,500 stipend for self-designed educational experience and a President's Research Fellowship of up to $5,000.
