Need-Based Loans

These loans are based on financial need and are included in a student's financial aid package. Repayment of these loans begins after completion of the student's education or withdrawal from school. Need based loans do not accrue interest while the borrower is enrolled at least half-time.

Non-Need-Based Loans

These loans are not based on financial need and are available to students and parents of dependent students who meet the lender's eligibility requirements. These loans are available through the federal government as well as various private lending institutions. We encourage you to explore federal programs as your first resource.
